Ascension Driving Academy

Ascension Driving Academy (ADA) is a Louisiana owned and operated company.  ADA is certified by the Louisiana Department of Safety and Corrections.  ADA is working to provide a high quality driver education program for students throughout South Louisiana.  ADA works with local schools to bring driver education to the schools.  ADA is a family owned business whose employees are primarily made up of local teachers and law enforcement personnel.  Every employee is licensed and certified by the State of Louisiana.  Our goal is to provide an environment that is both informative and interesting.  The students will gain the knowledge and skills to safely operate a vehicle.  The students will learn to perform pre and post driving checks, and accomplish all skills required for basic control of the vehicle. 

The State of Louisiana requires anyone applying for a license to complete a driver education course.  All students must be 14 years and 9 months prior to entering the course and must be 15 years of age prior to completing the required driving portion of the course.  The course is made up of 30 classroom hours and 8 behind the wheel driving hours.  All driving will take place in one of our excellently conditioned vehicles that are equipped with dual air bags and dual brake controls.  Upon completion of the course each student will receive certification of completion of the driver education course.
